Questions
Which phones does it work on?
It works on iPhone and Android. It runs in the browser (Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android), and you add it to your home screen so it opens like an app, full screen and offline. No app download required. It also plays on tablets and computers.
Is anything shipped?
100% digital. No physical device or keychain is shipped.
Do you do cats? Other pets?
Yes! We make Petagotchis for dogs and cats, any breed or mix. We're also happy to try bunnies, guinea pigs, birds and other furry (or feathery) family members. They all get the same game: feeding, water, walks, play, naps and care streaks. Tell us about your pet in the form and we'll make sure we can do them justice.
How many photos do you need?
3–6 is perfect: one clear, well-lit face shot, one of their whole body, and any extras that show their markings or personality. Phone photos are fine.
What if it doesn't look like my pet?
Every order includes one free revision. Tell us what's off ("her ears are darker", "his tongue is always out") and we'll fix it. If it's still not right, you can ask for a refund within 7 days of delivery (see our refund policy).
What's your refund policy?
Not in love with your Petagotchi? Ask for a refund within 7 days of the day we deliver your pet's link. Just email us at test@test.com. If a refund is issued, your pet's game link is deactivated.
What happens to my photos?
They're used only to create your pet's artwork. We never share or sell them, never use them in ads without asking, and we'll delete them after delivery if you ask.
Can I give it as a gift?
Absolutely, that's how it started. We'll send the finished link to you so you can pass it on however you like, and put the recipient's name on the app if you want.
What's the daily care?
One 30-second walk and at least one meal a day. Do both to grow your care streak and unlock a red bandana (3 days) and a beach day scene (7 days). Miss a day and the streak starts over, but your Best streak is saved. On iPhone, a little red badge shows on the app icon when care is due.
Will they ever die or get sick?
Never. If they're left alone for a day they'll get a bit mopey and show it, and one cuddle (well, cheese) later they're happy again.
